Publication Standards

Our Editorial & Publishing Policies

Policy 01

Open Access Policy

Vindhyan Bloom provides immediate open access to all published content. Readers may freely access, download, and share articles without any subscription or payment barrier.

This open access approach promotes the widespread dissemination of research findings, maximises citation potential, and ensures that knowledge reaches scholars, practitioners, and students across the globe — regardless of institutional affiliation or geographic location.

Policy 02

Peer Review Policy

All manuscripts submitted to Vindhyan Bloom undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process. The identity of both the authors and the reviewers remains confidential throughout the review cycle.

  • Manuscripts are first assessed by the Editorial Board for scope and quality.
  • Suitable manuscripts are sent to at least two independent expert reviewers.
  • Review decisions: Accept / Minor Revision / Major Revision / Reject.
  • Authors are notified of the decision within 3–4 weeks of submission.
  • Revised manuscripts are re-evaluated before final acceptance.
Policy 04

Digital Object Identifier (DOI) Policy

From the current volume onwards, every paper published in Vindhyan Bloom is assigned a unique Digital Object Identifier (DOI). The DOI provides a permanent, stable link to the published work, ensuring it remains accessible and citable long into the future.

The DOI is displayed on the published article, in the archive listing, and provided to the author upon publication. Authors are encouraged to include their DOI when citing or sharing their work.

Policy 05

Plagiarism & Originality Policy

All submitted manuscripts are screened for plagiarism prior to peer review. Vindhyan Bloom requires that all submitted work be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.

  • A similarity index of up to 15% (excluding references) is acceptable.
  • Manuscripts with higher similarity scores will be returned to the author for correction.
  • Self-plagiarism — reuse of substantial portions of one's own previously published work — is also not permitted.
  • Any manuscript found to contain deliberate plagiarism will be rejected immediately.
Policy 06

Withdrawal Policy

Authors may request withdrawal of a manuscript before it has been accepted or published by emailing the editorial office. Withdrawal after acceptance may involve a processing fee.

Once published, articles cannot be withdrawn unless there are exceptional circumstances, such as ethical violations, significant factual errors, or data integrity issues that materially affect the validity of the research. Retraction notices will be issued in such cases, following standard scholarly practice.

Policy 07

Publication Ethics

Vindhyan Bloom is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics. All parties — authors, reviewers, and editors — are expected to adhere to ethical guidelines.

  • Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest.
  • Authorship must reflect genuine contribution to the work.
  • Fabrication or falsification of data is grounds for immediate rejection and blacklisting.
  • Reviewers must maintain confidentiality and declare conflicts of interest.
  • Editors make decisions free from commercial influence or personal bias.
